Visions of a Helping Hand is an ACC provider for Sensitive Claims Services located in Rotorua. This service offers fully funded support, treatment, and assessment specifically for survivors of sexual abuse or assault. It aims to assist individuals who have experienced trauma, ensuring they receive the necessary care and resources during their recovery process.

Our client-centered approach connects survivors with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, counsellors, social workers, and cultural advisors. Clients can access these services through self-referral or through a referral from a GP or ACC.

Anyone in New Zealand who has experienced sexual abuse or assault qualifies. If you are a New Zealand resident and the incident occurred outside of New Zealand, ACC may still be able to assist you.
How much does the Sensitive Claims Service cost?
The service is fully funded by ACC. However, there may be a charge if you do not attend scheduled appointments without providing sufficient notice.
